It was 30 September 1979 when the first Pancretan Pageant took place in Heraklion. And it was indeed Crete, the first region that dared such a pioneering project for that time, giving the impetus to organize pageants in other regions of Greece!
Today, 40 years later, the Pancretan Pageant continues to promote and highlight Cretan female beauty all over the world.
With several successes at national and international level, the Pancretan Pageant has established itself as the largest regional beauty institution of our country.
In addition to the high visibility of the competition, the finalists who are selected to participate each year gain basic knowledge, principles and professional awareness, which are very important for their future careers.
Therefore, the production company invites girls from 16 to 26 years old to participate in the 40th Anniversary Pancretan Beauty Contest, to live the experience and take their first steps in the world of glamour, beauty and spectacle.
The preparation of the finalists, who will be selected through the casting process, will begin in mid-October with courses in cinematography, photography and professional behaviour from Cristi Academy and will be completed in December, when the grand final for Miss Crete, the two alternates and Miss Crete Young 2019 will take place in Heraklion.
