Eva Kosmadaki wins the 1st Prize at the Pancretan Vocal Competition

The friends of the Pancretan Vocal Competition flooded for another year the hall of the centre "The Curetes" which had been transformed into a festival area for this purpose.

Cretan Art Productions, which is responsible for the organization of the competition, tried and succeeded in giving the event all the necessary elements to create the festival atmosphere.

Initially, a large number of young people from all over Crete had registered for the competition.

Those who stood out in the two qualifying rounds that preceded it took part in the final.

It should be noted that this year there were many remarkable voices but in the end the first prize was won by the eighteen-year-old Kosmadaki Eva from Heraklion, who has all those elements that can help her for a remarkable career in music.

The second prize was won by Markantonakis Manos from Chania and the third prize by the fifteen-year-old Vrythia Michaela from Heraklion.

The evening was presented by Gogo Mastrokosta, while the committee included George Gerolymatos and Orthoula Papadakou, among others.

As every year, Crete TV, which with its prestige promotes and supports the institution, covered the evening on television, sending images to every part of Crete and beyond.
