The "European Mobility Week" has been organised every year since 2002 on the initiative of the European Commission (Commission) and has established itself as the most important institution at European level for the promotion of sustainable mobility patterns and thus for the shaping and development of an environmental ethos.
On the occasion of this week, the Municipality of Malevizi organizes the event "We move differently - We stay healthy", with multiple actions and aiming to inform and raise awareness.
The aim of the actions is to encourage European local authorities to introduce and promote sustainable modes of transport and to raise awareness among citizens about the use of alternative modes of transport in their city.

- Pavlos Potouridis (Professor of Physical Education) "Open discussion aimed at promoting a more active and ecological lifestyle"
- Kaloust Paragamian (Biologist, Director of the Institute of Speleological Research of Greece) "Scale of changes in the environment and human societies"
- Yannis Moraitis (Heraklion Cycling Club) talks to people about the benefits of cycling - apart from physical exercise - to the environment and our everyday life.
- Concert with "Acousticans" (K. Spyridaki, Stavros Daoutis, Manos Fanourakis)
