"Girl and Woman" is the name of the new series of concerts that Eleni Tsaligopoulou has prepared for this summer, together with the Boğaz Musique who accompany her. A brand new show, in which the artistic curator and the selection of songs is her top bandmate, Dimitra Galani.
For years, Dimitra Galani, appreciating the great voice and the adaptability of Eleni Tsaligopoulou in a variety of musical landscapes, had the desire to create a concert program that reflects Eleni's highly successful but also unconventional course in Greek music. In her 30 years of recording and live performances, Eleni Tsaligopoulou has proven to be a very restless artist, with a deep musicality and love for singing. A creator-performer, who dares to experiment, to test, to take risks, to evolve but also to change course frequently by exploring new artistic possibilities.
During her years of career, Eleni moved in the whole spectrum of music creation, from pop to traditional, managing to record very big hits and songs that were loved by everyone even though they belonged to different styles. Unwinding the thread from the beginning, from "Sopa ki listen", her first album, to the latest, "Friends' Houses", all the hits that marked Eleni's long and highly successful career in music will be there. And of course the amazing band of Bogaz Musique will be there, who can follow with ease and skill the many different "selves" of Eleni Tsaligopoulou, who declares herself both "girl" and "woman" in her musical choices, as was aptly captured in the title of one of her important albums.
A personal celebration of her 30 years in singing will be the new summer performances of Eleni Tsaligopoulou - with the care and curation of Dimitra Galani - and at the same time a celebration of music, by a performer who has given herself wholeheartedly to her joy and emotion!
