Manitu sunset bliss on Heraklion beach presents Nafsica unplugged, on Monday 10 August.
Nausicaa became known in the music world when she was only 10 years old. When television "discovered" her, at a concert at her music school, Nausicaa was immediately targeted by Universal.
Her first cd, entitled "Nausicaa", with lyrics and music by Giorgos Theofanous, was released in October 2001 and reached the top 20 songs in the list of music hits.
Since then Nausicaa has worked hard, taking piano, dance and acting lessons. She has traveled extensively and worked with very successful music professionals in the business, including Walter Affanasief, the producer of the Titanic theme song ("My Heart Will Go On") and most of Maria Carey's songs.
She took vocal lessons from Lis Lewis (Britney Spears and Backstreet Boys teacher) in Los Angeles, as well as from William Riley, Celine Dion's vocal coach.
Nausicaa has been living in New York City permanently since she was 16 years old. She graduated from BMCC College with a degree in theatre and music. She writes her own songs and collaborates with top musicians. She performs at various events and has received awards, for her songs, in many music competitions, including the leading music magazine Billboard. She has written the music (film scoring) for Cynthia Hsiung's film "Are You For Great Sex?" and was named top pop singer, for the month of "October 2012", by StarCentral music magazine.
In 2007, she participated in the film "Psychrima" by Nikos Perakis, singing the theme song "A broken feather", with music by Dimitris Kontopoulos and lyrics by Nikos Gritsis, which was a great success in the music charts.
