For the 37th consecutive year, the Pan-Cretan Beauty Contest is here and invites girls from all over Crete to live a special experience and take their first steps in the world of glamour, beauty and spectacle.
In addition to the high visibility of the competition, the finalists who are selected to participate will gain basic knowledge, principles and professional behaviour, which are very important for their future professional careers.
With national and international distinctions, the Pancretan Pageant has counted numerous successes, with the most recent being the promotion of Miss Crete Young 2011 Mikaela Fotiadis to Star Hellas 2015 & Miss Europe World 2015 and Miss Crete 2015 Marianna Doxastaki to Miss World Next Top Model 2016.
The month-long preparation of the finalists will begin next September with intensive courses in kinesiology and will last until December where the Grand Final for the MISS CRETE & MISS CRETE YANG 2016 will take place.
The glamorous evening will take place in Heraklion and for the first time will be broadcast live by CRETI TV. Many rich prizes await the winners, some of whom will be selected to participate in international beauty contests.
Eligible to participate are all girls who are 16 to 26 years old, single and have been living in Crete for at least the last two years.
