With great success took place on Wednesday 07 May at the center "the Kourites" in Heraklion, the final of the 30th Pancretan Beauty Contest.
The title of Miss Crete 2008 was won by 23 year old Irini Petroulaki, who comes from Mires.
Andrianna Vlataki won the title of First Deputy Miss Crete, Chrysa Kyratzi won the title of Second Deputy Miss Crete, while sixteen-year-old Emmanouela Vlahaki from Heraklion was elected Miss Crete Young 2008.
For another year Crete proved that in terms of organization it has nothing to envy from the big productions of the genre.
Both the attendees and the viewers of Crete Tv, which covered the event, enjoyed a spectacular and surprising show.
Cretan Art Productions and Giorgos Asariotakis, who is responsible for the organization, managed with the help of experienced collaborators to present a flawless result, which ranks the Pancretan Beauty Contest as the top regional artistic event.
The committee was made up of renowned names from the local community as well as from the show biz of Athens.
The evening was presented by Vassia Loi, while the audience enjoyed George Christou and Nancy Alexiadis, who performed their well-known hits.
