The biggest music event of the summer returns again this year in the enchanting Matala!
During the three days of July 5, 6 and 7, Matala Beach Festival opens its doors for the 11th consecutive year, with free admission, ready to welcome thousands of visitors to an experience full of music, joy and carefree fun.
With the flame of the legendary spirit of the "flower children" coming alive again, this beloved institution promises unique moments of magic that will be unforgettable.
Matala Beach Festival promises an unforgettable experience, with an impressive lineup that includes some of the most talented and popular artists of the Greek and international music scene.
Among them stand out the explosive Marina Satti with her unique voice and energy, the only one of its kind Roos with his subversive melodies, and the always impressive Tonis Sfinos that will take us back in time with its subversive style.
Also, the Pavlina Voulgaraki will enchant us with its atmospheric melodies, while the 48 hours promise a dynamic live show full of fun and dancing.
The atmosphere is completed by the Chris Child, Pissi & Junior Mi by Yucatan and Gemma with their special musical proposals. The festival will also host impressive tribute acts to legendary bands such as Doors, Coldplay, ACDC and Motorhead, offering visitors a unique experience.
With such a rich programme, the Matala Beach Festival promises to give countless musical memories under the Cretan sun!
The Festival is addressed in its own unique way to all age groups. It invites us on a charming journey, to share the magic of music with young and old alike!
As part of its parallel activities, Matala Beach Festival welcomes and hosts the "Matala Busking Project". The "Busking Project" in its essence, welcomes and embraces all independent "street artists". During the festival, several artists are actively involved in the festival, at various places in the settlement.
The event is organized by the "Matala Municipality of Phaistos Municipal Monoparticipating Municipal SA", the Municipality of Phaistos and the Cultural Association of Pitsidia - Matala. The Region of Crete also participates in the co-organization.
The famous beach, colourful multifunctional buildings and Matala Camping will host the fans of MBF 2024 along with Vikos Cola and Zaros water!
The countdown for the biggest event of the summer has begun, 5-6-7 July 2024!
Admission to all concerts and activities will be free of charge in 2024.
