5η Παγκρήτια ημέρα καριέρας στις Ξενοδοχειακές μονάδες της Κρήτης

Ο Παγκρήτιος Σύλλογος Διευθυντών Ξενοδοχείων και η Περιφέρεια Κρήτης, αναγνωρίζοντας τη σημασία που έχει ο Τουρισμός στην Κρήτη, αλλά και οι μεγάλες δυνατότητες που προσφέρει ο ξενοδοχειακός κλάδος του νησιού μας στον τομέα της εργασίας, συνδιοργανώνουν την «5^η Pan-Cretan Career Day at the Hotels of Crete".

The event will take place:

στις 21 Ιανουαρίου από τις 10:00 μέχρι τις 17:00 στο Ξενοδοχείο «Aquila Atlantis» στο Ηράκλειο
και στις 23 Ιανουαρίου από 10:00 έως 16:00 στο ξενοδοχείο «Akali» στa Χανιά

Πρόκειται για μια σημαντική διοργάνωση, η οποία πραγματοποιείται για πέμπτη φορά στο νησί μας, με τη συμμετοχή πολλών Ξενοδοχειακών Μονάδων από όλη την Κρήτη και σκοπό έχει να φέρει σε άμεση επαφή τα Ξενοδοχεία με όσους επιθυμούν να εργαστούν σε Ξενοδοχειακές μονάδες.

Employees with previous experience in hotel units, but also anyone who wishes to start a new career in this field, have the right to participate, upon timely application. The event is also open to students of tourism schools who wish to carry out their internship.

Crete, with its special and unique characteristics, is renowned for its hospitality, its natural beauty, its rich cultural heritage and tradition, its diet which includes a wide variety of tasty and quality products, and is already one of the most important and popular tourist destinations worldwide.

In the coming years, due to the growing global trend for travel and holidays, but also due to a series of planned infrastructure investments, such as the new and modern airport of Kastelli, the completion of the BOAK and a series of large private tourism investments, a greater growth in tourism in Crete is expected and consequently a corresponding increase in labour supply.

The hotel profession for those with an innate sense of hospitality and communication is an attractive profession with a present and future, with great potential for development and career.

The career day will be attended by a large number of Hotel Managers, as well as by HR and HR managers. Those who attend will have the opportunity to make contact with them and find out about the jobs available at the hotels. Also, those interested in working in the hotel industry for the first time will receive information on how to start a new career in our island's hotels.
