Having highlighted many beautiful girls in fashion and entertainment and completing this year its 28th anniversary, the Pancretan Beauty Contest is changing the era.
Completely upgraded, the already established institution, with specialized partners and new blood in the organization of the production, has a date for Saturday evening, March 18th in the hall of the Olympia Palace in Heraklion where it aims to showcase the three new beauties, who will represent our island in the national competition of Ant1 while advertising the Cretan beauty.
This year's 16 most beautiful finalists, chosen from among 60 candidates from all over Crete, will compete for the coveted title of Miss Crete 2006 and the two alternates, in a glamorous and impressive evening.
The presentation is undertaken by the well-known presenter of Mega Shannel and Star Hellas 2003, Marietta Hroussala, while the presence of Miss World 2005 Birna Vilhjalmsdottir will give a special glow to the evening.
Also well known are the personalities of the field who will attend such as Miss Hellas 2005 Katerina Stikoudi, the Chania MRS Hydrogios 2003 Lila Karakitsaki, the Heraklion Miss Yang 2005 Chrysa Drakaki, the President of Miss World Julia Morley and as every year, this year too, the President of the Panhellenic Pageant Mr. George Prevelakis will be present.
The main sponsor of the evening is the company Caepoint that offers a Smart car for the first winner and the official sponsors are the company Siva S.A. that offers a Piaggio scooter for the first alternate, the company Michaelos Metal Buildings and Smirnoff North.
The choreographies and generally the choreography of the girls are curated by Yo Bailo dance club with Michalis Kassapakis, the photography by Takis Drossos, Planet Media has undertaken the electronic support of the competition, while the collaboration of the Dynamicmotion Studio of Haris Lambrakis is important.
The music coverage of the evening is provided by dj Bello and the sound and lighting coverage by the company of Manos Vassilakis.
The girls will appear with wedding dresses from Lambrakis, evening gowns from Mare, shoes from J.B. Bournazos, the swimwear they will wear will be a selection of All Weather stores, the jewelry of Agma from the jewelry store of Mrs. Tsolaki, while the fur shop Disegnio will put its own touch at the end of the evening.
The impeccable aesthetics of the girls is taken care of by the Belle Femme Beauty Institute of Mrs. Marian Sfakianakis, their hairstyles by the Elena Coiffure hair salon, their physical condition by the My Gym gym where the finalists exercised wearing Body Talk clothes, which were made available by the Health and Sports stores, while Nails & Style offers its special care.

The organization of the preliminaries in Agios Nikolaos and Rethymno was undertaken by the company Bellair Productions, while the cooperation of the President of the Panhellenic Pageants, Mr. George Prevelakis, who has been supporting the competition for 28 years, is essential and important.
Finally, Crete TV with its perfect technical infrastructure and its experienced collaborators has been giving a special prestige to the institution all these years, bringing the image of the final to every corner of Crete and beyond.
