Alkinoos Ioannidis and his musical company are going on tour this summer, continuing the long journey of Mikri Valitsa.
Thus, the public of Heraklion will have the opportunity to enjoy him on the first day of the opening of the summer events of the Municipality of Heraklion, on Saturday 08 July at the "N. Kazantzakis" garden theatre.
He states: "We started out recording in a basement and ended up spinning around the Earth non-stop. This constant transition from the solitary to the collective characterizes our life and our art. There is genuine, mutual joy in meeting listeners. There is energy, communication, comfort, gentleness, participation by all in something alive, real and precious.
The band is made up of great musicians, who respect their art and practice it with enthusiasm and passion. Each of them is a complete world. They offer it generously, building together our special, shared aesthetic. So for the last three years, we have lived happily regressing from creation to destruction. And we share this life with our listeners whenever we sing. Whenever, with three notes and two words, we try to spell out dream and reality in an inseparable way."
