Cretan Art Productions, a company specializing in the organization of artistic events, has created a folkloric group consisting of 25 renowned artists (musicians-singers-dancers), with the aim of promoting Greek traditional culture in an absolutely authentic way. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Performances have already started in various parts of the island with great success (Elounda-Rethymno-Hersonissos).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tonight, at the Astoria Odeon Theatre, the first performance will be given for the audience of Heraklion and the foreign visitors of our city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two-hour performance starts at 21:00 and those who wish to attend it can purchase tickets at the entrance of the theatre and from selected presale points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The show will be repeated every Wednesday and throughout the summer at the same time and place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is worth noting that for the first time an authentic performance of Greek dances and Greek music is attempted, which in our time is subject to unprecedented distortion and abuse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The musical sounds of the show, of absolute quality, give the real power of Greek traditional and folk music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Traditional Workshop of George Kougioumoutzis has curated the dance parts of the performance with authenticity, after a long research on Greek culture that he and his collaborators have been conducting for many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
