Surpassing in success every previous year, the final of the 31st edition of the competition was held on Wednesday, June 10 at the \"Oi Kourites\" centre in Heraklion.th<\/sup> Pancretan Beauty Contest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The title of Miss Crete 2009 was won by 20-year-old Maria Tsagaraki from Heraklion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The title of Miss Crete A was won by Emmanouela Damvakkeraki from Rethymno, the title of Miss Crete B was won by Tiffany Fragiadaki from Heraklion, while sixteen-year-old Mariza Mathioulomanolomanolaki from Moira was elected Miss Crete Young 2009.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 16 finalists were presented in wedding dresses from Demetrios, evening gowns from Mara and swimwear from All Weather. The hairstyles were done by Nicolas Hairdressers, while make-up was done by Belle Femme beauty salon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gold sponsor of the evening was www.blacksilkcasino.eu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both the attendees and the viewers of TV CRETA, which covered the event, enjoyed a spectacular and surprising show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The choreographies of the girls were curated by the international dance academy Yo Bailo of Mr. Michael Kassapakis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For another year Crete proved that in terms of organization it has nothing to envy from the big productions of the genre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cretan Art Productions and Giorgos Asariotakis, who is responsible for the organization, managed with the help of experienced collaborators to present a flawless result, which ranks the Pancretan Beauty Contest as the top regional artistic event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among others, the president of the Panhellenic pageant Mr. Vassilis Prevelakis participated in the committee and the evening was presented by Miss Crete 2001 and Miss Hydrogios 2003 Lila Karakitsaki.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
