Alkinoos Ioannidis presents a solo programme this year. Alone on stage, he plays and sings his songs in their simplest form, taking us back to the moment of their creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following a centuries-old tradition, that of the troubadours, it travels from city to city carrying sensations, feelings, thoughts, experiences, dreams and realities that concern us all. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The programme was presented this spring in many countries in Europe, while in Greece it has been presented from time to time in small venues, but also in large theatres, such as the Lycabettus Theatre in Athens and the Forest Theatre in Thessaloniki. A programme of listening and participation, which takes us through its tensions and silences to the core of this sacred art. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The protagonists, as always, are the songs themselves. They stand before us naked and vulnerable, as they were born, but as strong as ever. With them we experience the abolition of distance, the expansion of time, the magic of coexistence, the transformation of the solitary into the collective. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
